Rick Hinson is the most famous sound editor of all. Many top American Television shows, cartoons and television movie have his name posted on the credits somewhere. He began his career in 1983 sound editing the cartoon "Alvin & The Chipmunks". In 1986; he began sound editing live-action television with LA Law, and television movies with Lone Gone in 1987. Since then; he has sound edited the most popular shows alive on television including The X-Files, The Sopranos, Ally McBeal, Boston Public and Pasadena among the as many as 140+ shows credited to him. He has done cartoon shows such as Static Shock, Street Fighter: The Animated Series, Angry Beavers and Life With Louie among many. His television movie credits include Invasion, Deadly Web. A Stranger To Love and Spring Fling!. He was also an editor for The Secret Garden, Legend of the Firefly Marsh and December. He was the president of the Motion Picture Sound Editors guild and has lighten his workload quite a bit; however, he was seen sound editing Clifford's Puppy Days and Scooby-Doo & The Legend of The Vampire recently.
