James Gallego is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena; he began his career as an illustrator for several animation studios including DIC, Hanna-Barbera, Ruby-Spears, Universal, MGM, Warner Brothers, Marvel and Nickelodeon. He joined Walt Disney Television Animation in 1988 and worked as an Art Director on nearly every television series up to 1995. He then move to DisneyToons to work on the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Pocahontas sequels. Since 2009; he returned to Nickelodeon studios to work on visual development and digital painter.
